Cornbread without Buttermilk (No Dairy)

YOU'LL NEED
To a bowl, add plant milk and stir in the apple cider vinegar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to curdle.

Then, add the eggs, oil, melted butter, brown sugar, and honey. Mix until smooth.

In another bowl, sift all of the dry ingredients- flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Mix.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and using a spatula, mix until the flour is incorporated.

Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. In the meantime, grease a cast iron skilled and sprinkle with cornmeal.

Pour the batter into the hot skillet and tap it on the counter a few times to release air bubbles.
