Easy Christmas  Eggnog (Dairy-free!)

To a bowl, add egg yolks and granulated sugar and mix until creamy and smooth.

Add oat milk, a pinch of salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Take 1/2 cup of the hot milk and slowly pour it into the egg yolks, while mixing constantly.

Step 3

Gradually pour the tempered eggs into the hot milk, while mixing constantly.

Cook for 10 minutes, or until the eggnog thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

Remove from the heat and stir the vanilla extract and dark rum. Let cool for 1 hour, then serve.
