Easy Vegan  Churros Recipe

Vegan butter, granulated sugar, salt, flour, flax egg, ground cinnamon, and oil for frying.

In a saucepan, add sugar, vegan butter, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn the heat to low.

Add the flour and stir immediately. Cook until the dough forms into a ball.

step 2: cook the dough

Add the dough to a bowl, and add the flax egg. Using an electric mixer, mix for 30 seconds, until smooth.

Transfer the dough into a piping bag with a large star-tip attachment. Pipe into 5-6-inch long churros.

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven. Drop the churros and fry for 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Let the churros sit on a plate with paper towel for 30 seconds to remove excess oil.
