In a bowl, add lukewarm water, sugar, and yeast. Mix, then set aside for 10 minutes, until foamy.

In the meant time, in a large bowl, add flour, sugar, and salt. When the yeast is ready, add it to the bowl alongside the olive oil.

Mix everything together until it forms a dough. Knead for 5-10 minutes until it's soft and elastic.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for
30 minutes

Using a rolling pin, roll the pizza dough into a 12-13 inch pizza crust. Transfer it to a baking sheet or a pizza stone.

Use lukewarm water to activate the yeast.
Cold water won't activate the yeast and hot water will kill it. Make sure your water is between 100-110ºF (38-43ºC).
