White Bean Dip (Cannellini Bean Dip)

-white beans -lemon juice -fresh herbs -garlic cloves -olive oil -salt -black pepper

ingredients You'll need

To a food processor or a blender, add all of the ingredients - white beans, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic, and herbs.

step 1

Puree for 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides if needed. For a dip with more texture, blend for 30 seconds. For a smoother dip, blend for longer.

step 2

Taste and adjust the flavor if needed- adding more salt for saltiness, lemon juice and zest for tanginess, or garlic for depth.

step 3

Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for 1-2 hours, which will allow the dip to thicken. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 4 days.

Serve with pita chips, crackers, sourdough bread, or homemade naan. When I'm craving something refreshing, I serve it with fresh chopped veggies.

Use fresh herbs, instead of dry. The flavors of the fresh herbs are what make this dip incredible, and dried herbs won't give you the same result.
