To a high-speed blender, add all of the ingredients for the milkshake - milk, cream, ice cubes, Oreo cookies, vanilla extract (optional), and salt.
1 ½ cups (375ml) milk of choice, ½ cup (125ml) cream of choice, 12 Oreo cookies, 4-5 large ice cubes, ½ - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, Tiny pinch of salt
Blend on high speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the mixture is completely smooth and no chunks of cookies or ice remain.
Taste and adjust the flavor and consistency if needed- adding more ice to make it colder, or more Oreo cookies to make it sweeter.
Serve right away with any toppings that you like such as whipped cream or crushed cookies. You can also dip the rim of the glass in the melted chocolate, then cover the edges with cookie crumbs for presentation.
